Corona Time Musings

I light a cigarette

And stare at the empty openness

From the tiny balcony

Unable to offer a visible smile

In the children's park

The fallen leaves dance with the breeze

The stray pups play, undisturbed

We’re learning what to do

Smoke from my cigarette vanishes

In the intense isolation

The guards stand exposed and helpless

The battle, however, is only beginning

God to the rescue?

What if God was one of us?
Just a stranger on the bus
Tryin' to make his way home?
-(Joan Osborne)

Reflections from the road

A dry leaf rides on the dirty windshield, cars honk angrily to drill through the colourful chaos, bikes romance the gaps... and we move on!

Night's Bright Darkness

"There is a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in"
Leonard Cohen
